Both our farm and our “Oasis Farm Holiday”
cottages are in Forcatura nestled above the scenic
Colfiorito Parklands.
Forcatura is a small village near Foligno, in the province of
Perugia, very close to the border
of
the Marche region.
Forcatura was an important settlement in ancient times for the
first Umbrians — the population that later gave
the region its name, Umbria.
Today you can still see the ruins of the first human settlements
revealed by the numerous archaeological excavations in the area. |
